Tallow & Lard Shampoo Bar
With a luxurious foamy lather, this shampoo feels wonderful and leaves your hair feeling thick and soft. I created this particular blend after using these same oils to regrow my own hair after suffering from hormonal hair loss. The oils worked so well but were sticky and hard to wash out on their own. So, I put them all into one perfect shampoo bar hoping they’d work as well… And they do! I have experienced a thickening of my hair as well as a healthier feeling scalp. Always from the cows on our farm, our grass-fed tallow is as pure as it comes. Our cows are on grass 24/7 and are treated holistically, organically, and naturally. Chemical free, hormone free, & antibiotic free.
Why it’s wonderful:
Tallow is biologically similar to our skin which allows it to moisturize, absorb and nourish in ways that other oils and synthetic creams cannot do.

Pastured, Toxin Free Lard:
Always from the pigs on our farm, our pastured lard is clean and pure. Our pigs are on pasture 24/7 and are treated holistically, organically, and naturally. Chemical free, hormone free, & antibiotic free. While a majority of their diet is grass and forage, they are lightly supplemented with a high quality, soy-free & non-gmo grain from right here in Virginia.
Why it’s wonderful: Saponified Lard provides the most luxurious, moisturizing lather of any oil. The result is soft, smooth skin that feels like you just bathed in silk. With many of the same properties as tallow, it’s moisturizing & nourishing. Once you use our completely natural lard soap, you won’t be able to go back to anything else. Your skin will feel clean, hydrated, and healthy! We never use fragrance grade oils, mica powders or any other synthetic, preservative or chemical.*
Organic Coconut Oil: A 2018 study published in the International Journal of Molecular Science found that coconut oil is rich in antibacterial, anti-aging, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Other studies have shown that coconut oil can block some of the sun's UV rays, help with healing the skin and many other conditions due to its anti-microbial and moisturizing properties.
Organic Tea Tree Oil, Organic Peppermint Oil, Organic Cedarwood Oil, & Organic Rosemary Oil: While these oils all tout many accepted healing, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, I’ve added them to the shampoo because they are all known to stimulate hair follicles. I’ve used this blend to successfully regrow my own hair after fighting hormone imbalances that led to severe loss. Others have reported the same!
